He was born in 1974, 12 September
1992 – started practicing Aikido (Iwama-ryu);
1995 – opened Aikido Club “Iwama”;
1998 – started practicing competitive (Tomiki) Aikido; established Georgian Tomiki Aikido Federation (GTAF) and become president of it. Now He is president of Georgian Competitive Aikido Association;
He was graded 1st Dan in 2000, 2nd Dan in 2002, 3rd Dan in 2007, 4th Dan in 2012;
From 2003 he is organizing annual national championships and tournaments;
He attended international seminars and camps in Japan, Belgium, UK, Norway, Spain, Slovak, Czech Republic, Poland, Republic of Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia;
He participated in the Fifth Aikido World Championship in Leeds, England (2003); in the 6th International Tournament in Katsuura, Japan (2005); in the 8th International Tournament in Kyoto, Japan (2009); in the First and Second European Aikido Championships in Budejovice, Czech republic (2008, 2010) and in Forth Championship in Antwerp, Belgium (2014).
Achievements:
2000 – I place in Open Kata, II place in tanto randori – at the First Moscow International Tournament;
2002 - I place in tanto randori – at the Second Moscow International Tournament;
2008 – I place in goshin no kata, II place in men’s team tanto randori – at the First European Aikido Championship (Budejovice, Czech republic);
2009 – III place in goshin no kata, III place in kongo dan tai sen – at the 8th International Aikido Tournament (Kyoto, Japan).
2010 – I place in ninin dori, II place in goshin no kata, III place in men’s team tanto randori, III place in kongo dan tai sen – at the Second European Aikido Championship (Budejovice, Czech republic);
2014 - II place in Randori no kata, II place in team tanto randori, III place in Koryu no Kata - at the Forth European Aikido Championship (Antwerp, Belgium).
